Bikerbabe Sera @serawilliamson is from Melbourne Australia. Her story inspires us to never give up on your hope and dreams! Sera: „My motorcycle journey started at 6 years old as a pillion on the back of my dads bike. Over the years my love of motorcycles grew, as well as my curiosity of having my own. I had played around on dirtbikes and roadbikes in car parks before so about 8 years ago I decided to sit my test. I failed. The CB400 I was allocated was big, heavy and I didn't feel confident at all to try and ride it. I cried and cried. I thought that was it... pushing on I finally booked in to do it again, this time on a CBR125. I still struggled with the slow speed turns and dropped the bike a couple of times... but I passed the test! It wasn't until a few years later after having my daughter and separating from her father I realised I needed something for myself to help me cope with the grief I was facing. I started to look at bikes again. I found the CBR250 of my dreams & literally scraped together everything i had money wise to buy her. I was told I was crazy, it's dangerous, i shouldn't do it etc.. but It would of been worse for me not to have that outlet I needed so badly. Over the years I learnt so much about myself. Bikelife taught me perseverance, about strength in the face of adversity, and to never give up on your dreams!“ ❤ Thank you for this wonderful story dear Sera! Much love and many wonderful adventures to you!
